One of the many bittersweet things in life include Sephora's existence in this world.
Whilst I'm forever upset over the fact that Sephora is not accessible in the UK I know that if they had shops here I would be bankrupt - no word of a lie!
This is what had stopped me from ordering from them when they announced that they now ship to the UK but after trying to find products that I couldn't get my hands on in the UK I decided to bite the bullet and make my first ever Sephora order.
The ordering and shipping process was simple enough, if you spend over £75 you won't be hit with nasty custom charges so it helps to save up your wants and make one big order.
I made my order on a Sunday and received it the next Friday.
Minimal waiting time, we like!
As for my order, I picked up a few items I had been eyeing for a while that I couldn't purchase in the UK.
Out of my mini shop I picked up 4 of the infamous Sephora Lip Stains in 01 Always Red, 12 African Violet, 14 Blackberry Sorbet and 15 Polished Purple.
I also picked up the Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette and two of Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in the shades L.U.V and Vampira.
As my birthday had just passed and I had previously signed up to be a Sephora Beauty Insider I was also gifted with a mini NARS lip pencil set containing a matte lip pencil in Cruella and a satin lip pencil in Rikugien - winning!
All in all, I am more than pleased with my order!
The lip products are the items I'm most excited about right now, I love everything about liquid lipsticks!
I'll come back to the blog with in-depth reviews and swatches once I've had time to review these products so stay tuned for that.
