If you know me you’ll know I am not a fan of winter. The only thing I like about winter is the fact that my face is no longer a greaseball – and that’s it. Winter is an all-round no-no for me, so I decided to pick up a few new products to create a natural, bronzed summer look.
I used a host of new products including my new MAC Studio Fix Perfecting Stick in NC50 – £16.00 as a base and to cover my dark marks and spots. I fell in love with this instantly as it was a perfect match and blended into my skin like buddah.
I also used the YSL Souffle De E’clat Poudre in 04 which gave my face the most flawless finish – these two combined really work well for people who are looking for flawless skin without full coverage or “heavy” foundation.
One thing I really want to put out there is that black girls can bronze! I LOVE bronzer and I always find myself using so much of it because I just love how it makes my skin look.
My two favourite bronzers to use are:
- Covergirl Queen Bronzer – Ebony Bronze
- ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
I use both of these in abundance but I have found that it’s pretty hard for a black girl to buy a bronzer in the UK *side eye to all makeup brands.*
I finished off the look with my staple brown lip pencil MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Bittersweet – £15.50 and Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow – £16.00 – a winning combo!
